New Delhi: Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu continues his visit to Delhi, having met with Prime Minister Narendra Modi this evening. The meeting lasted for approximately one hour and addressed several key issues concerning the state.
Naidu brought up a range of topics, including the impact of recent floods, funding for the Polavaram project, financial assistance for the diaphragm wall, the status of the Amaravati capital, and the Visakhapatnam steel plant. He urged Prime Minister Modi to allocate additional funds to help restore normalcy in the flood-affected regions of the state.
In addition to his meeting with Modi, Naidu also conferred with Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw to discuss the establishment of the Visakhapatnam railway zone. They reviewed railway projects aimed at enhancing connectivity to Amaravati and addressed various aspects related to port development.
Naidu’s schedule for tomorrow includes meetings with several central ministers. He is set to meet with Union Minister Nitin Gadkari at 11:30 AM, as well as with Piyush Goyal and Hardeep Singh Puri
