Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu is known as one of the first- generation tech-savvy politicians in the country. The AP cabinet meeting to be held on August 27 at 11 am, will reflect his mark in this regard. This will be a paperless e-Cabinet meeting.
Already two months after he assumed charge as chief minister for the fourth period and slowly he is trying to bring back his erstwhile style. Previously also he is known for using technology in his meetings with officials.
During his conference with collectors and SPs, last week, Chandrababu made it clear that there will be no more hours-long reviews like in the past. He has already made four visits to Delhi. His visits to national capital New Delhi, also seems to be very strategic.
His meetings with Prime Minister Narendra Modi and other union ministers are reflecting his strong desire to get centre’s liberal assistance for the development of the state. He is also motivating his party MPs each to focus on a few specific ministries persuading pending issues related to the state.
Ahead of his next cabinet meeting, Chandrababu has issued a circular that he will hold a paperless cabinet like in the past. All the ministers and officials should attend the meeting with their respective tabs. There may be no paper used in the meeting. This type of cabinet was held by Chandrababu when he was in power between 2024-19.
Separate Principal Secretaries, Principal Secretaries and Secretaries of all departments are directed to prepare a PowerPoint Presentation (PPT) soft copy in PDF and Word format with departmental proposals by 23 August.
Meanwhile, the government is working on preparation of a full budget likely to be introduced in the assembly some time during next month. The finance department will hold meetings with various departments from 19th to 22nd of this month. The finance department has asked to send the budget estimates by 31st of this month.
