Telugu Desam Party’s donation website was formally launched by Party chief N Chandrababu Naidu at NTR Bhavan. The website https://tdpforandhra.com has been made available to this extent. Chandrababu appealed to supporters to donate to the Telugu Desam Party through this website.
Referring to discontent in few constituencies on contest among alliance parties, he assured that corrective measures will be taken with mutual consent, if there is a mistake in one or two places.
He said that while they were collecting donations from party workers and sympathizers, YCP was collecting donations from gamblers. He alleged that YCP is taking steps to allow online gambling. Besides donating to the party, Chandrababu called upon NRIs to come to AP and work for the party and the state.
It has been clarified that any amount can be donated starting from 10 rupees. He revealed that Telugu Desam is a part of the people. Chandrababu asked that there may be electoral bonds but they should be transparent. He said that any digital payments can be done legally.
Naidu said that political corruption can be reduced if the digital payment system is made available. He deplored that while the country is going in the right direction, AP is going in reverse. He felt that impatience seen among people towards the present state government is unprecedented.
Former chief minister expressed concern that the YCP government is not giving priority to quality education, but showing more interest in giving color quoting to buildings. He lamented that even when solar-like systems are available, there are power cuts. He called that YCP, which has made the state so bad, should not get even a single seat.
The TDP chief suggested that flags of alliance parties should be hoisted on every house. He accused YCP of attempting to project chief minister Jagan Mohan Reddy as a `humanitarian leader’ by spending crores of rupees for `Memantha Siddam’ public meetings.
Chandrababu expressed anger that fake news and fake videos are being created from Thadepalli palace. Apart from the phone tapping in AP, all wrongdoings are alleged to have taken place in the YCP government.
