TDP President and former Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu has accused that Chief Minister YS Jaganmohan Reddy has done injustice to the people here by not making Rajampet a district. He was addressing a joint election rally in Rajampet, along with former chief minister and BJP Lok Sabha candidate N Kiran Kumar Reddy and Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan.
A large number of cadres from three parties gathered and the police struggled to control them. Chandrababu warned that the people’s revolt against Jagan’s regime has started and is ready to throw out the forces of anarchy.
Expressing his surprise over the massive response from people, he said that he had never seen such enthusiasm in Rajampet and emphasized that the rebellion had started in AP. He warned that this revolt would send Jagan home. He promised that after the alliance wins the polls, a victory rally will be held in Rajampet.
Did Jagan do you justice? Did Jagan at least build houses for the victims? Can CM Jagan, who cannot build Annamayya Dam, build three capital cities? He asked. He detailed how many families were ruined during Jagan’s regime of repression and loot.
The TDP chief asked the people to think what would happen if they vote for YCP again. He said that YCP should be defeated if they want relief from the harassment and loot of YCP leader Mithun Reddy and his family.
Chandrababu announced that soon after coming to power he will sign on Mega DSC and during the next five years he promised to provide jobs to 20 lakh youth. He promised to give an unemployment allowance of Rs. 3,000 till they get a job. He also promised to complete the Annamayya project after coming to power. Chandrababu expressed deep anger that the prices of essentials have increased during the YCP regime.
Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan reminded that Jagan has changed candidates in 70 constituencies out of fear of defeat. It is ridiculous that liquor business partner Mithun Reddy is struggling hard to defeat him in Pithapuram.
He lamented that sheer negligence by ignoring warnings of the Jagan government that Annamayya project was collapsed and as many as 39 people died due to digging sand in the dam.
