Referring to AP Chief Minister YS Jaganmohan Reddy’s tall claims of winning all 175 assembly seats and all 25 Lok Sabha seats, former chief minister and TDP supremo N Chandrababu Naidu challenged him: can he win in his home constituency Pulivendala?
Addressing a massive Prajagalam election campaign meeting along with Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan in Nellimara of Vizianagaram district, he asked him with what face he can ask for votes in Pulivendula? Do you want a vote for killing your uncle? He said CM also has no face to ask for votes in Nellimarla.
If Jagan swallowed Rushikonda, Appalanaidu who was here took him as an example, turned as an anaconda and swallowed all the hills in the entire constituency, he alleged. Deploring the over action of the police, he ridiculed if any one says one word against CM Jagan they are coming to arrest jumping walls. But, he said they keep silent even if someone removes the head from the idol of God.
Eventually, he alleged that the police are not hesitating to file false cases against him too. “If I say that injustice has been done to God, they will file a case against me and threaten to throw me inside prison… That is the crazy Tughlaq administration”, he added.
Will this Tughlaq continue?, Chandrabbu asked. Stating that CM Jagan is now on a tour in Northern Andhra by a bus. He challenged and asked did Jagan bring even one project to this region? Has he completed even one irrigation project? Has he given jobs to youth?
The TDP chief said that those who do not give justice to anyone are now reaping the benefits. “I brought Bhogapuram Airport. If I wanted, I could put it in the middle of Visakhapatnam or East Godavari district. But I preferred this place expecting that it would become a gateway to the development of Northern Andhra. I expect this will help promote industries, so that our youth will get employment”, he added.
He recalled that he had acquired 2750 acres of land for Bhogapuram and laid foundation stone. But, he said that Jagan again laid the foundation stone and did not complete the same till now, which was expected to be completed by 2021. He promised that after coming to power he will complete it by 2025.
