Congratulating newly nominated chairman and members to various government corporations, Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu advised them to avoid arrogance, but always remember they are public servants. Conducting a review meeting with them, he said that no one should feel special than other people.
The Chief Minister said that a special procedure was followed in the selection of candidates in the recent elections, and today also nominated posts were given after an elaborate exercise. Stating that only few people were accommodated in nominated positions, he said there are still many nominated positions, which will be filled in due course.
He deplored that some leaders are in a hurry to get positions in the government, but said that is not good for them and also to the party. He said in the first list, those who were unable to get part nominations in recent elections were given preference. Also those who have gone to jails, who lost their properties and those who faced illegal cases were given a place.
Chandrababu Naidu said that he has a complete list of party workers, who have been working hard for the party and justice will be done to everyone. At the same time, he said that social justice also will be followed in the nominated posts and BCs are being given priority as per population ratio. He recalled that not only familiar leaders of the party, but also those who are working at field level are also recognised and given positions.
Chandrababu said that the role of APIIC is crucial in generating returns on investments and setting up industries. Big companies can be brought in with the creation of infrastructure only. He deplored that if the land was collected for industries during the previous TDP regime, then the previous YSRCP government allocated it for housing plots and failed to fulfill the objective. Employment general is possible only by attracting new industries to the state
He said that he and Pawan Kalyan have said ‘Simple Government – Effective Governance’ and suggested to follow the same. The Chief Minister advised all nominated members to work in coordination with the ministers, MLAs and MPs. Ultimately, he said that the alliance government can draw political gains only if they work hard.
Meanwhile, newly nominated members thanked the Chief Minister for following social justice in finalizing nominated posts and assured they would work to realize his expectations from them and strengthen the government and also the party.
