Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu has issued orders to formulate an action plan to create 20 lakh jobs for the youth of the state in five years. He also instructed to provide infrastructure in rural areas to enable them to work at home along with increasing skills among the youth.
Conducting a review on youth services, sports and skill development, he suggested that human resources should be provided as required by the industries through skill training. He said he believes that there is a possibility of getting large-scale opportunities through skill enhancement and suggested giving priority to the program that works from home in the hybrid system.
He said that the process of setting up training centers with multinational companies should be undertaken. The CM said that the victims who lost everything in the floods in Vijayawada asked to be shown employment. The CM said that providing necessary opportunities to those who stayed in the villages due to various reasons to work would bring good results and the government and industrialists should work together for this.
Chandrababu directed to provide incentives to the sports sector by creating infrastructure. He clarified that the construction of stadiums, sports grounds and sports development centers, which were partially completed during the previous TDP regime, should be completed and made available.
The CM said that Rs.23 crore is being sanctioned to complete 35 Sports Development Centers which were stalled by the previous government. Instructions have been issued to make playgrounds available for sports like kabaddi and volleyball in the villages. He suggested that NRIs and industrialists should be given an opportunity to give their names if they come forward for the construction of sports premises.
Chandrababu suggested that the necessary infrastructure should be completed with the aim of holding the National Games in our state in 2027. He suggested that a new sports policy should be formulated in the state.
He stressed the need to make Tirupati, Amaravati and Visakha as sports hubs. IHe suggested reviving the programs like Project Gandhiva, Project Panchajanya, Project Vijaya, Day Borders, Sports Nurseries which were stopped by the previous government. Solar power panels should be installed in all stadiums, he added.
