CBN to have a Rayalaseema tour on Irrigation projects

Monday, September 16, 2024

The opposition leader of Andhra Pradesh’s Assembly, Nara Chandrababu Naidu has set his eyes on the region of Rayalaseema, which is underdeveloped, especially in the case of its irrigation and droughts. The senior MLA of AP would point out the obvious failures of the ruling party in this tour.

The leaders of YSRCP in Rayalaseema have tried to target the past CM Chandrababu Naidu and his 14 years long regime to declare that TDP failed to do any project in the region of Rayalaseema and to counter this, CBN decided to tour the region on his own. He will visit all four districts of Kadapa, Kurnool, Chittoor, and Anantapur categorizing each day for each district. Babu would start his tour with a road show in Nandikotkur to inspect the nearby irrigation projects like Muchumarri Project etc. Naidu’s aim is to update people regarding the progress of all these projects promised by YSRCP and how far they fulfilled their promises in this regard. Needless to say, none of the announced irrigation projects are completed and this would give a huge mileage to the opposition leader.

Naidu wants to utilize this quick tour of Rayalaseema to also empower the TDP cadre and to cheer up the local leaders to pump up the election buzz. As the general elections of 2024 are approaching, Babu wants to make sure he tapped all the areas to get the maximum vote bank.
