The ACB court has given its verdict regarding Chandrababu Naidu’s custody plea filed by his lawyers in the skill development scam case.
Going with the arguments made by the CID, the judge of the ACB Court has dismissed the plea for house custody for Chandrababu Naidu and expressed that the jail is much safer for him. The team of advocates led by Siddharth Luthra has made an appeal to the court that Rajamahendravaram Central jail is having several hardcore criminals and it might pose a threat to Chandrababu Naidu. They also expressed the concern that Chandrababu was a target to many as he has been fighting with many criminals in his 40-year-long political journey.
However, the advocates of CID stated that RJY central jail is safe with a tight security system and health amenities. They also mentioned that a special room has been allocated for Naidu and stressed the fact that the home minister of the state will take responsibility for Chandrababu Naidu. Upholding the arguments put forth by the CID, the ACB judge has dismissed the plea for house custody of CBN. In this context, the CBN’s legal team is now preparing to approach the High Court. Have to wait and see what’s going to be the future course of action of TDP.
