The former MP Viveka’s murder case is taking a new twist and turn each day passing by. The CBI has filed an additional affidavit in Telangana High Court regarding the non-cooperation of Kadapa MP Avinash Reddy.
The CBI has stated that the Kadapa MP Avinash Reddy is not at all cooperating with them and not even attending the questioning. The CBI said that they have to complete the investigation by the 30th of June but Avinash Reddy is in no way cooperating with them. The CBI has also gone to Kurnool regarding this but the mess MP’s supporters have created and as it would lead to a law and order problem, they have come back without interacting with Avinash Reddy.
Citing all these reasons, the CBI has sought custodial interrogation of Avinash Reddy so that they can proceed with the interrogation. Have to wait and see how the High Court responds to this.
