The Central Bureau of Investigation handed over a fresh set of notices to Bhaskar Reddy directly at his house under the section CrPC 160 on Tuesday evening in Pulivendula.
The notices were given as a counter to the request made by Bhaskar Reddy as he skipped the date of 18h of last month which he had to appear. CBI initially issued notices to the father of YS Avinash Reddy in order to enquire about his alleged link with the murder of YS Vivekananda Reddy. However Bhaskar Reddy requested the CBI to wait as he already got some pre-committed personal and professional meetings. Now that the CBI officials are present in the town of Kadapa, they have handed over the notices directly at his home. They have directed Bhaskar Reddy to attend the inquiry which is to take place on the 12th of March in the guest house of Kadapa Central Jail.
AP CM YS Jagan Mohan Reddy’s uncle YS Vivekananda Reddy was brutally murdered with an axe according to the CBI investigation and they have arrested Sunil Yadav and four more in this case including the driver Dastagiri who later turned as an approver. The CBI in its recent file to the court attached the names of Kadapa MP Avinash Reddy and his father Bhaskar Reddy terming them as the ‘Masterminds’ behind this entire case. Already the CBI grilled Avinash Reddy and now they look forward to questioning Bhaskar Reddy with new information.
