Unexpected developments are taking place during the foreign tour of former Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy. During Jagan’s foreign tour, the court imposed certain conditions and allowed him to go to Europe. However, the CBI has recently stepped in, stating that he is violating those conditions and therefore seeking cancellation of that permission.
Jagan Mohan Reddy is currently in abroad. Meanwhile, the CBI has now filed a fresh petition in the court based on the details given by Jagan as per the court’s conditions. It has sought cancellation of the permission, stating that the conditions have been violated.
During the permission granted to the former Chief Minister for his trip to Europe, the CBI court had imposed conditions on him to submit his phone number and email ID along with the details of the trip. As Jagan is already Jagan on his tour, the petition filed by the CBI is now becoming a sensation.
The CBI’s examination revealed that the phone number given by YS Jagan to the court was not his. In this context, the CBI has brought the issue of YS Jagan violating the bail conditions to the attention of the court. Objection was raised to the submission of a different number to the court.
With this, the CBI filed a memo in the main court in Hyderabad to cancel the foreign trip. The CBI court ordered Jagan’s lawyer to file a counter to that. Jagan went on a foreign trip to visit his daughters. For this, prior permission was taken from the court. The CBI special court, which heard Jagan’s petition, granted permission to travel to Europe for 15 days between October 1 and 30 with several conditions.
At the same time it ordered him to appear in court in person after the end of the trip. With this Jagan went to Europe on the 11th of this month. A hearing was held in the court during the permission to travel.
On that occasion, his lawyer stated that Jagan had never violated the court’s conditions. But the public prosecutor, who argued for the CBI, disagreed with this. With this, the court granted permission with conditions. Now the CBI court will hear the CBI’s latest counter petition on Thursday.
