In an interesting turn of events, the CBI officials arrested Uday Kumar Reddy Gajjala today in Pulivendula and moved him to Kadapa Central Jail’s guest house. More details about this shocking arrest are as follows:
It is a known fact that the CBI-Hyderabad wing has shifted gears in investigating the murder case of YS Vivekananda Reddy. As a part of their questioning, CBI confirmed that it was Uday Reddy who arranged an ambulance and a freezer on the day Viveka was allegedly murdered with an axe and his father gave the stitches. CBI officers tracked Uday using Google tech and found him when he was residing in YS Bhaskar Reddy’s house in Pulivendula. Now that the closest aide Uday was arrested, the accused Avinash Reddy has been rattled. Many are asking who is next on the list of arrests. Is it Avinash Reddy or his father Bhaskar Reddy.
An interesting fact is that the same Uday Kumar Reddy filed a case against a CBI Special officer for allegedly blackmailing him to turn as an approver in September and Police also booked a case against the officer. Now that the case has been handled by the CBI wing of Hyderabad, Uday was taken into custody without much effort.
