Janasena Chief Pawan Kalyan responded on the way Police created high drama in Balabhadrapuram to stop the Opposition leader Chandrababu Naidu from attending his meeting. Terming the act of Police unconstitutional, Pawan Kalyan questioned the AP Government whether the opposition leaders have no right to point out irregularities in the state’s governance.
Pawan Kalyan has released a press note via his party Janasena’s official Twitter handle regarding the whole incident that happened yesterday evening near Anaparthi. Condemning the whole incident, Pawan declared that the Police are acting as personal agents of the ruling party YSRCP as they intentionally created hurdles for the TDP Chief. He questioned the Police if they have any right to stop the Opposition leader of Andhra Pradesh from exercising his rights to speech and rights of freedom within the nation of India.
Finding commonality in his own experience, Pawan recollected that he had undergone the same treatment from the YSRCP-led Police in Vizag where he was restricted to a hotel room without even allowing him to raise and wave his hand to the supporters. He added that just like in Vizag, Police had cut the electricity making the entire premise dark. The actor-turned-politician opined that the ruling party has started shivering as the Opposition leaders started voicing out their distress over the bad ruling and pointing out their irregularities in everything. He concluded his press letter by declaring that the ruling government should understand that everyone has the right to practice their constitutional rights
