Former MLC and firebrand TDP leader Buddha Venkanna, who used to react very strongly whenever YSRCP MLAs made derogatory comments against Chandrababu Naidu and Nara Lokesh in the last five years, seems to be very upset at the high command for ignoring him after the elections.
During the birthday celebrations of Vijayawada MP Kesineni Chinni, Buddha made sensational comments on the present TDP MLAs and sparked a huge controversy. He said that none of the current MLAs and MPs fought like him when the party was in crisis. Buddha opened up like never before and said that he was not able to help his supporters without any post or position.
He was deeply upset with the way the government issued transfers at the behest of MLAs and without considering his requests. Buddha said no one cares him without an MLA post and vowed to secure the seat in the 2029 elections at any cost.
Buddha openly apologized to his cadre for not being able to fulfil their requests and said that he will remain loyal to the party even if he is not given any post or chance to contest in elections. He expressed pain for not getting due respect within the party after coming to power and said that he is currently facing as many as 37 cases lodged by the previous regime.
Kesineni Chinni admitted that the TDP followers from Vijayawada West constituency are facing numerous difficulties and promised to take them to the notice of the party high command.
