The party of BRS has taken a sensational decision in soothing its alliance partner in Politics, MIM by supporting their candidate for the upcoming MLC local body elections.
Going into the details, the Telangana State will have its MLC elections on the 13th of March to fill two posts and BRS has already decided on its candidates. It is all set to field PRTS-TU candidate Katepalli Janardhan Reddy under the teacher’s quota for Mahabubnagar-Ranga Reddy-Hyderabad teacher MLC position. Coming to the second MLC candidate, BRS would go with its alliance partner MIM’s candidate Syed Aminul Hasad Jafri for the Hyderabad local body elections quota thereby fulfilling his promise to the Majlis leaders in the past. With this act, BRS has once again strengthened its ties within the state with the MIM, which acts as a key catalyst to win the elections.
The counting of the votes would be on the 16th of March and the results will be out immediately after that. These elections are taken quite prestigiously as they reflect the mood of general voters before the Assembly polls of 2024.
