The Telangana ruling party BRS is all set to expand its wings beyond the state. Its immediate target, the state of AP, and the party bigwigs are all set to hire in the much-needed leaders to establish the party fully.
BRS Chief KCR has already roped in former Janasena leader Thota Chandrasekar Rao and a few other retired IAS officers for the AP-BRS wing and made Thota as its working president. Since the elections of AP are approaching in a year, KCR has directed Thota to invite more and more leaders into the party but he specifically asked for the retired IAS and IPS officers. The reason is nothing other than that these Public Service Commission officers are generally less prone to corruption and would work best for the party and development.
According to the sources close to the BRS, Thota is already in talks with the former Janasena MP candidate VV Lakshminarayana but the latter is yet to give his final decision. As this is not enough, Thota is also holding meetings with the Vizag Naval Base DGP Sambasiva Rao and a few others from the Northern AP side. It seems the BRS of the AP wing would only be filled with retired IAS and IPS Officers.
