BRS MLC Kavitha has raised serious concerns regarding the increasing crimes against women in Telangana. She highlighted two shocking incidents: a woman being attacked near a temple in Nagar Kurnool district and the gang rape of a German woman in Hyderabad. Kavitha pointed out that these incidents have exposed the lack of protection for women under the leadership of Revanth Reddy.
Despite statistics showing a 22% rise in crimes against women in the state, Kavitha accused the Revanth Reddy-led government of ignoring the issue. She questioned the government’s indifference to the alarming situation and criticized the failure to take effective action.
Kavitha demanded that the Congress government prioritize the safety of women and end its complacency. She voiced her concerns on social media, urging the government to address the growing problem of crimes against women in the state.
