The death of Dr. Preethi has sent tremors across the two Telugu States as the postgraduate student allegedly ended her life due to severe harassment from one of her seniors. While the doctors declared it a suicide, the parents of the victim have been demanding a deep probe as they suspect many things behind this death. BRS leader Kavitha shared a personal letter via Twitter the other day addressing the family of Dr. Preethi by declaring that as a mother herself, she was also distressed by the death. Kavitha claimed she stood among millions of people who prayed for the recovery of the medico but it was unfortunate to lose such a passionate, well-desired medico with such great perseverance in order to become a doctor and serve society. The ex-Minister assured the family and well-wishers of Preethi that the Government of KCR is with them and it will make sure the culprits are caught and justice is served.
Kavitha expressed her deep condolences on behalf of her BRS Government and wished God to be with the victim’s family in these tough situations. When everyone including the opposition blamed the Government’s silence regarding this sensational case, Kavitha responded on behalf of the government to decrease the political tensions around this entire issue. The family of Preethi are suspecting that this was indeed a murder but not a suicide and they want a thorough investigation.
