The announcement of the first list of MLA candidates by the BRS Chief KCR has led to a disturbance within the party. Those MLAs who are already dissatisfied with the leadership are now looking forward to leaving the party. One among them is Rekha Naik.
The MLA of Khanapur Rekha Naik was shocked to see the list as her name was not enlisted among the announced candidates. Deeply hurt by the act of KCR, Rekha Naik decided to leave BRS and extend her support to the rival party Congress. Already her husband Shyam Naik joined Congress seeking a future and now Rekha who won twice with the BRS ticket under the ST category is also joining TPCC soon. Rekha Naik expressed her distress over KCR and declared that the Chief must have been scared that he has to give cabinet ministry if she wins for the third time in a row as well. Stating that she has no one except her husband and people of her constituency, Rekha pledged to serve them from Congress and mostly she will get the ticket from there.
Taking the queue from Rekha, other BRS leaders who are dissident with the BRS like Nalla Manohar Reddy and Madira leader are also leaving the party and joining Congress. Seems KCR has already grasped who has dual minds and made them disappear from the list.
