Hyderabad: BRS MLA Padi Kaushik Reddy has accused the Congress party of plotting to distance Andhra settlers from their party. Addressing the media, he claimed that during the ten-year tenure of K. Chandrashekar Rao (KCR), settlers did not face any difficulties. He recalled KCR’s assurance to address any issues faced by settlers, emphasizing that his administration had always supported them.
Kaushik Reddy expressed that KCR and BRS leaders have shown respect for the people of Andhra Pradesh. He criticized Chief Minister Revanth Reddy, alleging that his actions are creating problems for settlers through unethical political strategies.
He clarified that he has not used the term “settlers” derogatorily and suggested that any use of the term “Andhra” by him would be a personal matter with Arekapudi Gandhi. He highlighted that KCR has treated settlers with great care, which has led to their strong support for the BRS in Hyderabad.
