After BRS Executive President KT Rama Rao announced that his party has decided not to contest and also participate in the ongoing Hyderabad Local Bodies MLC polls, both the Congress and BJP are targeting him. Candidates of AIMIM and BJP are in the contest.
While Congress accusing that this decision was taken only after colluding with the BJP and help its candidate to win the poll, the BJP alleging that both BRS and Congress are allaying with AIMIM and not fielding candidates only to ensure success of AIMIM candidate.
TPCC chief Mahesh Kumar Goud has accused KTR of being a puppet to make BJP win in the local body elections. He alleged that BRS had entered into a nepotism agreement with BJP to avoid corruption cases. He criticized KTR for working as a slave to the BJP party. He alleged that the BJP, which lacks numerical strength, is contesting with the support of BRS party.
He expressed anger that BRS leaders, who have looted the state for 10 years like a gang of thieves, have entered into a nepotism agreement with BJP to avoid corruption cases. He alleged that due to collusion between two parties, the Narendra Modi government is not taking action against the irregularities of BRS leaders who worked with the aim of looting the state in ten years.
He accused that BJP, which has taken advantage of BRS weaknesses, is doing injustice by not giving the state the shares and funds it deserves. He said that the state is lagging behind in all fields as BRS leaders who have put their own interests first did not question the BJP government.
He expressed his anger that it is ridiculous that BRS, who supported Modi’s decisions in the past ten years, are now questioning the Congress. He also alleged that both BJP and BRS are spreading bad news against HCU land row.
Meanwhile, Union Minister of State for Home Affairs Bandi Sanjay criticized the Congress and BRS parties, saying that they are the descendants of Naxalites. How can they stay away from the MLC elections while living in a democracy?, he wondered. He reminded that in a democracy, only Naxalites would stay away from elections and boycott voting.
