Seems the ongoing rivalry between the Central BJP and Telangana’s TRS government is still on as the center recently started troubling the T-state in the name of halting funds.
The TRS Chief KCR has announced a political war on Modi a couple of years ago and it went to another level after the official launch of KCR’s National party BRS to compete with the BJP. Keeping this in mind, the Saffron party has been trying its best to create hurdles for the Pink camp every now and then. In the recent seeking of funds for the T-state, the center stopped the grants alleging that the T-state has to pay the escape tax of close to 153 crores of rupees. Now KCR has no way other than paying taxes to get more funds from the central government.
In this regard, Political experts couldn’t help themselves but relate the same situation with the AP Government, which is rumored to be in secret nexus with BJP. Earlier BJP halted funds for the YSRCP Government and even went to court to get the taxes but later the saffron party went all soft on the Jagan’s camp. This partial behavior of BJP between KCR and Jagan’s governments is well evident and observers on a lighter note say that BJP is firing roses for Jagan and Bullets for KCR.
