BJP Threatened To Expose A Mega scam In Revanth Reddy Govt. In Two Days

Sunday, January 5, 2025

BJP Legislature Party leader Aleti Maheshwar Reddy said that he will expose a mega corruption scandal in the Revanth Reddy government in the next two days. He claimed that he has found a lot of evidence and alleged that ministers are also involved in them.

Maheshwar Reddy criticized that even though a year has passed since the Congress came to power in the state, it has not been able to fulfill a single promise. He suggested that the Revanth Reddy government should remember and fulfill the promises made in the new year.

He lamented  that the Revanth Reddy government, which promised to provide `Rythu Bharosa’ in 100 days, is now wasting time in the name of committees without implementing it even after the completion of a year. He  reminded that it did not provide the same in Kharif and expressed doubts whether it will be provided in the Rabi season now.

He recalled that Deputy Chief Minister Bhatti Vikramarka himself promised to give Rs. 12,000 per year to the farm laborers and he asked who is stopping him to fulfil even after a year? He wondered whether he was hiding the money to give to some contractors?

He recalled that a cabinet sub- committee on `Rythu Bharosa’ was formed stating that a report would be submitted within 15 days. Why could the procedures not be given even after 4-5 months? He demanded that in the cabinet meeting to be held on January 4, they should discuss the ‘Rythu Bharosa’ and take a final decision.

The BJP leader lamented that the Congress’s statement that it would take applications for 3 days regarding `Rythu Bharosa’ was cheating farmers. He said that the previous government had already given `Rythu Bharosa’ and without extending facilities to them the government is dragging time in the name of new regulations.

He said that the Congress has arrears of Rs. 35,000 crores to be given to the tenant farmers along with the farmer’s insurance. Maheshwar Reddy said that Rs. 23,000 crores are required for one season to provide farmer’s insurance. And for the two seasons together, Rs. 46,000 crores are due. But he said that only Rs. 15,000  has been allocated in the government budget.
