New Delhi: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is making significant strides in the Delhi elections, with a decisive victory appearing within reach. This has sparked widespread discussions regarding the next Chief Minister of Delhi. In this context, BJP’s state in-charge, Baijayant Panda, announced that a decision on the Chief Ministerial candidate will be made within the next 10 days. Panda clarified that any elected MLA could be considered for the role, and the party will factor in the views of the public and activists before making a final call. The decision will be forwarded to the BJP Parliamentary Board, where the ultimate determination will be made.

Panda also highlighted that the BJP provides opportunities to ordinary individuals, which is not the case in other political parties. Meanwhile, in the New Delhi constituency, BJP’s Parvesh Verma defeated AAP’s Arvind Kejriwal, enhancing his stature within the party. Verma, who has emerged as a prominent figure, met with Union Home Minister Amit Shah after his victory, further fueling speculation about his potential candidacy for Chief Minister.
