Two days after the humiliating defeat of YSRCP in Assembly polls, the newly elected BJP MLA and former minister from YS Jaganmohan Reddy’s Kadapa district C Adinarayana Reddy leveled a very serious accusation against chief minister’s wife YS Bharathi Reddy.
He alleged that Bharati Reddy’s role in politically sensitive Delhi Liquor Scam, in which already senior leaders of AAP, including Delhi Chief Minister Aravind Kejriwal and KCR’s daughter K Kavitha were lodged in Tihar Jail. He said soon details of her role in this scam will come out.
Moreover, he accused that during five-year of YS Jagan’s regime she has acted like `anti- constitutional authority’. On the otherhand, he said now trail into CBI and ED cases against YS Jagan will get momentum now. He is hopeful that the cases trail that has been hanging since 12 years will be not expedited.
He also said that soon action will be taken against Kadapa MP YS Avinash Reddy, who is prime accused in the murder case of his uncle YS Vivekananda Reddy.
Adinarayana Reddy revealed that BJP’s strength has increased in AP in the 2024 general elections. He recalled that it has won 8 out of 10 assembly seats it contested and 3 of 6 MP seats won.
He felt that it would be now difficult for YS Jagan to sustain his party and said that many YSRCP leaders, including newly elected MLAs are now in touch with BJP to join the party. However, he made it clear that the party leadership will take decisions keeping in view some leaders who had disrupted development of the state.
He said that the people who were tired of YSRCP’s irregularities for the past five years had extended their support to the alliance for the betterment of the state. It was people’s determination to put an end to the anarchic rule of YCP through their vote that led to change of government in the state, he added.
He alleged that red sandalwood was smuggled under the leadership of Jagan, like the Pushpa movie. He accused the YSRCP government of weakening all systems after coming to power. He deplored that rural employment was trampled.
He alleged that the aspiration of the people of AP was not given a place for the Visakha railway zone, without allocating necessary land. Adinarayana Reddy said that YSRCP leaders have created obstacles for development in many ways.
