Telangana BJP chief N Ramachander Rao strongly condemning his and other party leaders arrest on Thursday at DGP office, when they tried to submit a memorandum protesting against shoot out at Gorakshak Sona Singh, accused that the government in Telangana is not Revanth Reddy’s government,  but Revanthuddin’s government.

He wondered that is Revanth’s government was there just to protect the MIM goons? He took severe objection that over 100 party workers along with him, accompanying leaders from the state, district, Yuva Morcha, and Gau Seva Samithi units were taken into custody by police.

If the cow smuggler mafia opened fire on cow protector Prashant (Sonu Singh) yesterday, he lamented that it is shameful that the Congress party and the state government are spreading false propaganda against the cow protector without taking strict action against the accused.

“I strongly condemn the arrest of about 100 BJP leaders and activists along with me by the police and taking us to the Goshamahal police station while we were on our way to submit a memorandum to the state DGP in the wake of the shooting incident on cow protector Sonu Singh”, he said.

He deplored that Sonu Singh was seriously injured in the firing by MIM goons after they stopped him at Ghatkesar while transporting cows and is undergoing treatment at Yashoda Hospital in Secunderabad. However, Rao strongly condemned the false propaganda being spread by the state government, claiming that Sonu Singh is demanding money for the settlement of the case, with unfounded allegations against him.

He lamented that it is outrageous to make false allegations against a victim who is undergoing treatment in a hospital amidst the death of his life. Similarly, he said that it is immoral to arrest them  when they  were going to talk to the DGP about this incident.

CM Revanth Reddy, who said that he would bring a new policy for the establishment, management and protection of cow shelters in the state of Telangana, is now giving gun licenses to those who slaughter cows.?, he asked.

Rao said that people are expressing doubts that is there actually law and order in the state?  After the Congress party came to power, he alleged that the goons and mafia who transport cows are getting excited. Many attacks on cow protectors have increased. The culmination of this is the attempt to shoot and kill Prashant (Sonu Singh), a man named Ibrahim, who came from Old City, he added.

Rao urged that people should understand where the Congress government is thinking. He demanded that the state government should take full responsibility for this incident. Those involved in this incident should be arrested immediately and strict action to prevent such incidents from recurring.

He also demanded that the government should bring a law banning cow slaughter in Telangana. Otherwise, he warned that they will intensify the movement under the auspices of the Bharatiya Janata Party.
