BJP chief official spokesperson N V Subhash posed a question on the affiliation of candidate of Congress party for Jubilee Hills bye-elections. He said the public is asking whether Naveen Yadav, who filed his nomination for the by-elections, is a Congress candidate or belongs to AIMIM candidate?
Referring to the statement of Naveen Yadav that `Asaduddin Owaisi is my Guru and Revanth is my Godfather’, Subhash said it is a clear indication of the secret nexus between the Congress and the MIM. He said Naveen Yadav was earlier contested elections on MIM ticket who has majlis ideology and now in poll fray on “Hand” symbol of Congress party.
Subhash alleged that Congress wanted to hand over GHMC Mayor post to the MIM and urged people to be wary about tacit understanding between Congress and MIM that could lead to a “Razkar” rule in the city risking the transformation of “ Brand Hyderabad” to “ Brand Raakars”. He further accused the state Congress government of demolishing houses of the poor and not taking any action against illegal structures in the old city.
He alleged that the promise of providing 42 per cent reservations to BCs is another cheating of Congress government to BCs as its unfulfilled six guarantees and 420 promises. He lamented that the Congress party is misleading the people with false propaganda, claiming the BJP is anti-BC and it is preventing the 42 per cent reservation from being included in Schedule-9 of the Constitution.
He asserted that BJP is committed to 42 per cent reservations for Backward classes. The Congress has been deliberately deceiving the BCs for the past 20 months, despite knowing that the Supreme Court has ruled eight times since 1990 that reservations cannot exceed the 50 per cent limit, he added.
Alleging that Congress has lack of judicial knowledge on the issue of BC reservations, he said Congress issued a GO –9 knowing that it would be invalid in the court and they hired lawyers charging exorbitant fees per hour, fully aware it will not stand in the court of law.He branded Congress party and CM Revanth Reddy were the “ Brand Ambassadors of Deceit”.
