The personal assistant of YSR Congress Party MP Y.S. Avinash Reddy, Bandi Raghavareddy, has been served a police notice in connection with controversial social media posts. The police notice comes after the arrest of YSRCP activist V. Ravindra Reddy, who was arrested for sharing derogatory posts on prominent opposition leaders such as N. Chandrababu Naidu, N. Lokesh, Pawan Kalyan, Vangalapudi Anita, and Y.S. Sharmila. He is detained, judicially at Kadapa Jail for his detention due to a complaint lodged by the Pulivendula citizen.
Kadapa Cyber Crime Police Station has called him for questioning. He also applied for anticipatory bail. The Andhra Pradesh High Court has agreed to consider his plea on 12 December. The court ordered not to take serious action against him until then.
After being out of public view for some time, Raghavareddy made an appearance in Pulivendula on Sunday. Subsequently, local police visited his residence to request his presence. However, Raghavareddy made it clear that he would only comply with a formal police notice. The police have now issued the required notice, and he is expected to appear at the Kadapa Cyber Crime Police Station on Monday.
