Atti Satyanarayana, popularly known as Anushree Films Satyanarayana, has strongly denied allegations made by producer Dil Raju accusing him of being behind the recent theater strike. Speaking at a media interaction in Rajahmundry, Satyanarayana claimed that Dil Raju maliciously involved his name in the controversy to protect his brother, Shirish Reddy.
Satyanarayana clarified that he never announced any theater strike. He said his comments were made in response to a journalist’s question about the possibility of theaters shutting down due to a lack of new film releases. He further stated that the theater strike was declared by Shirish Reddy on June 1.
He alleged that Dil Raju’s accusations against him were aimed at shielding his brother and that Dil Raju invoked the Janasena party’s name only after warnings from Pawan Kalyan. Satyanarayana accused Dil Raju of theatrics comparable to an Oscar-winning performance.
The controversy escalated when Dil Raju publicly blamed Satyanarayana for the theater strike during a media briefing in Hyderabad, prompting unrest within the Janasena party. In response, the party leadership suspended Satyanarayana from its primary membership and removed him from the post of Rajahmundry City In-charge.
The party has instructed Satyanarayana to refrain from all party activities until the issue is fully resolved.
