The attack on the convoy of Eluru district Polavaram Jana Sena MLA Chirri Balaraju caused a stir. Unidentified persons attacked his car with stones. MLA Bala Raju left Barrinkalapadu for Jeelugumilli on Monday night.
Meanwhile, the attack took place near the intersection of four roads. Unidentified persons attacked his vehicle with stones.. The rear glass of the car was completely destroyed. He was not in the car at the time of the attack. He said he was safe.
Jana Sena leaders of the constituency said that there is no need to worry. The incident will be investigated and action will be taken against the attackers. The police are investigating the incident. However, it has created uproar in the constituency.
On the other hand, Deputy Chief Minister and Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan strongly condemned the stone attack on Polavaram MLA Chirri Bala Raju’s vehicle. He said that some people had committed this attack in Barrinkalapadu a little while ago.
MLA Bala Raju was not in the vehicle at the time of the attack so no harm was done. He asked the police to immediately identify those responsible for this incident and take strict action. He deplored that such attacks on the MLA are outrageous.
Polavaram MLA Chirri Bala Raju wore a mask like a commoner and went to KRpuram ITDA office for inspection. During the office hours, the employee Sai Kumar left work and sat playing a game of pazzi. The MLA noticed this and expressed his anger against him and ordered the authorities to suspend him.
Chirri Bala Raju also conducted a surprise inspection of Tribal Girls Ashram High School in Rajanagaram of Buttaigudem Mandal. As part of the inspection, lessons were heard along with the students of class X. He also inspected the hostel building, mess and had lunch with the students. The employees are asked to keep the area around the mess in the hostel clean.
After the MLA Chirri Bala Raju visited the PHC located in Borrampalem Panchayat of T Narasapuram mandal, he said that in the previous government, some funds were allocated for the new building of PHC and at least the basement was not seen. He alleged corruption to the tune of Rs 2.5 crore. All in all, the Polavaram MLA has focused on the problems in the constituency.
