AP Govt troubled  Ippatam villagers yet again

Thursday, September 19, 2024

The ruling party YSRCP has sent its government officials to carry out a couple of demolitions in the village of Ippatam in the name of violation of rules. This is the second time officials have troubled the village and its residents.

Going into the details, officials from the Roads and Buildings along with some revenue officers reached the village of Ippatam and demolished as many as 12 houses. They stated that these houses have encroached into the government’s lands and roads by constructing their walls beyond their own properties. A huge number of police personnel were deployed to ensure law and order is maintained whereas the villagers cried out loud for such sudden demolitions. On the flip side, the residents fumed fire on the AP CM that he is intentionally doing such things with a personal grudge against the village only the reason that they sided with the Janasena Chief Pawan Kalyan in the past.

This is not the first time such demolitions happened in the village. When they gave lands to carry out the Janasena Anniversary, the ruling party sent officials and demolished a couple of houses claiming that they were widening the roads intentionally in that village leaving all the really damaged roads in the entire state. It has to be seen how the opposition parties, especially Janasena respond to this act of the ruling party. Chief Pawan Kalyan asked its party not to make any comments against the AP government keeping the Vizag Global Investors Summit in mind for the sake of the state’s interest.
