Chandrababu Naidu-led AP government, which is implementing many welfare programs for the people of the state, has taken another key decision on NTR Bharosa pensions. With the aim of benefiting more people and faster, NTR Bharosa is simplifying the distribution of social security pensions. As part of this, it has decided to grant spousal pensions within a month.
If the husband who is taking the pension dies, the pension will be given to his wife. However, pensions used to be granted six months after the application. Putting a full stop to such problems, the Andhra Pradesh government has implemented a policy of granting pension to the wife that month immediately after the husband dies.
Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu announced during his visit to Srikakulam district on November 1 that pension will be provided to widows from time to time under the spouse category. Following the Chief Minister’s orders, the government has sanctioned a new pension of Rs. 4,000 per month to 5,402 widows under the spouse category from November 1 to December 15.
All of them will be given pension on December 31. Along with them, the government will also provide pensions to 50,000 pensioners who have not been able to take their pension for the last three months due to various reasons.
In fact, NTR Bharosa pensions are distributed on the first of every month. The employees of the village and ward secretariats provide pension to the beneficiaries. However, this time the first date falls on January 1 and is a holiday, so the pension will be provided a day earlier.
In this order, pension will be provided to pensioners in the state on December 31. The secretariat staff will reach the houses of the pension beneficiaries and provide the pension. The government is taking steps to distribute pensions across the state in a single day. Those who were unable to receive their pensions due to any technical issues will be provided the pension the next day.
