The Andhra Pradesh government has decided to appoint brand ambassadors for the state capital, Amaravati, in a move aimed at promoting the city and attracting investments. An action plan will be developed for appointing brand ambassadors at various levels with government approval.
The selection of brand ambassadors will be based on factors such as sustainability, development, innovation, and social standing. A key focus will be to appoint individuals who have a strong connection with the people of the Amaravati region.
Brand ambassadors will be nominated based on recommendations from the Chief Minister or the Chief Minister’s Office (CMO). The selection process will also consider skills, qualifications, and standing. The appointments will be valid for one year.
The initiative aims to promote Amaravati as an international city and foster economic growth through increased investment.
