Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan has announced an ambitious plan to connect every village with a population of 250 or more to the state’s road network. On Thursday, Pawan Kalyan held a review meeting with Panchayati Raj engineering officials and representatives from the Asian Infrastructure and Investment Bank to discuss the initiative.
During the meeting, Pawan Kalyan revealed plans to construct 7,213 kilometers of roads across Andhra Pradesh, with an estimated expenditure of Rs 4,976 crore. He also stated that discussions will be held with the central government to reduce the state’s matching grant requirement to 10 percent.
