AP BJP president PVN Madhav made sensational comments saying that former Chief Minister Jaganmohan Reddy will definitely be arrested in the liquor scam case and that no one will stop him. He asserted that Jagan must go to jail in this case. As BJP president he started his district-wise tours from Kapada and also completed Kurnool, reaching Anantapur.
During a visit to Kurnool district, Madhav said that Jagan committed many irregularities and they are known to everyone. Stating that Rayalaseema region remains the most backward region in AP, he expressed his regret that justice has not been done even though many Chief Ministers and Presidents have come from this region.
He emphasized that BJP is definitely working for the development of this region. He clarified that they will support increasing irrigation resources and construction of projects here. He said that the Central Government is helping in matters like creating jobs and employment opportunities. He announced that a conference of nomadic tribes will be held on August 30. He assured that BJP will work for the upliftment of respective communities.
He said that BJP is committed to abide by its Rayalaseema Declaration and a High Court bench will be set up in Kurnool as per the Sribagh Agreement. He assured that a special thought will be given to Rayalaseema. He made it clear that only the coalition government can complete Rayalaseema irrigation projects and industries.
While 150,000 acres of land were to receive irrigation water from Tungabhadra LLC, he lamented that only 70,000 acres were receiving wate, He reminded that the people had sung the final song to the anarchic rule and made the coalition win. He accused that the previous government had diverted the Panchayat funds and that after the coalition government came to power, funds were coming directly to the Panchayats.
Madhav assured that temple tourism would be developed. He called on BJP workers to fly the BJP flag in every village. Stating that the BJP has achieved a feat that no one else in the world has achieved, he clarified that it is the BJP’s glory that Vajpayee and Narendra Modi came from ordinary families and became the Prime Ministers of the country.
