Revanth Reddy Takes Oath as Telangana Chief Minister

Hyderabad: Anumula Revanth Reddy, the driving force behind Telangana Congress’s significant victory in the November 30 Assembly polls, officially assumed the position of the state’s second Chief Minister today. The oath taking ceremont took place at Lal Bahadur Shastri Stadium in Hyderabad. Telangana Governor Tamilisai Soundararajan administered the oath of office.

Accompanying Revanth Reddy, 11 members of his cabinet also took the oath, with Mallu Bhatti Vikaramarka sworn in as Deputy Chief Minister. Notably, former Telangana Congress chief N Uttam Kumar Reddy, who initially opposed Revanth Reddy’s candidacy, also joined the cabinet. The remaining eight members are Ponnam Prabhakar, Sridhar Babu, Damodar Rajanarasimha, Komatireddy Venkat Reddy, Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy, Dana Anasuya (Seethakka), Konda Surekha, Tummala Nageswar Rao and Jupally Krishna Rao.
