After bearing the tragic loss of the legendary actors Kaikala Sathyanaraya Rao and Chalapathi Rao, Tollywood has now faced another significant loss with the death of the senior actor Vallabhaneni Janardhan Rao on Thursday.
According to the sources, the 63-year-old breathed his last today in a private hospital in Hyderabad. After hearing the saddened news, many celebrities from the film and political circle have expressed their shock and grief.
It is known that the filmmaker and the renowned actor is the son-in-law of the late Telugu director Vijaya Bapineedu.
Born in Andhra Pradesh in 1959, Vallabhaneni Janardhan began his filmy career at an early age. He later went on to deliver some successful films like Neekosam, Srimathi Kavali, Mahajananiki Maradalupilla, Paripoyina Kaithilu and others.
Janardhan worked with all the star actors including Chiranjeevi, Balakrishna, Venkatesh, Nagarjuna and others. But he rose to fame after appearing in Chiranjeevi’s 1991 action crime drama Gang Leader and in the majority of Vijaya Bapineedu’s flicks.
As per the sources, the talented actor appeared in more than 100 films in his film career. His superhit films also include Surya IPS, Stuartpuam Dongalu, Lakshmi Narasimha and many others.
