TDP Chief Chandrababu Naidu experienced yet another unwanted stampede in Guntur resulting in the death of three women. The incident happened in a recent public event where an NGO organized a giveaway.
Uyyur Foundation in collaboration with the TDP conducted a public event and distributed sarees to the women under the names ‘NTR Janatha Vastralu’ and ‘Chandranna Kanuka’ in Guntur. Within no time, the local women rushed to the event to receive sarees. They sat in order as long as CBN was addressing and the moment CBN left, all the seated women marched towards the distribution place resulting in a huge stampede. The rush left three women dead and many injured. The organizers took the injured to the Guntur government hospital and others to some nearby private hospitals to save them.
This is the second time where CBN’s public events resulted in deaths even before none forget the Kandukur stampede where 8 people lost their lives. It seems TDP has to mobilize its own personal security by hiring private guards as the incoming flow of people is more than what Police could handle.
