Union Home Minister Amit Shah, amid the ongoing high-pitched election campaign, has said that the fight in these Lok Sabha polls is between ‘Vote for Jihad’ and ‘Vote for Vikas’.

Addressing an election rally in Bhongir of Telangana on Thursday, he said the 2024 election is Rahul Gandhi vs Narendra Modi and that it is a contest between Modi’s “Bharatiya gurantee” against Rahul’s “Childish gurantee”.

Describing the Congress, BRS and AIMIM as a triangle of appeasement, he said the parties don’t let Ram Navami procession to take place and that they also oppose CAA.

“These people don’t allow the celebration of ‘Hyderabad Liberation Day’ (September 17). These people oppose CAA. These people want to run Telangana on the basis of Sharia and Quran,” he said.

Amit Shah said that BJP has already won more than 200 seats and he expressed confidence that this time they are going to win more than ten seats in Telangana. He recalled that they had won  4 Lok Sabha seats in the last election and this time they will win more than 10 seats.

He said that a double digit score in Telangana will pave the way for 400 seats in the country for BJP. Stating that the situation of the Congress in the state has become miserable, he said that the party is not finding candidates to contest. He deplored that the Congress party will try to win elections with lies.

The Union Minister expressed anger that they are saying untruths that reservations will be removed if Modi comes again. He once again clarified that the 4 percent reservation for Muslims will be canceled and will be given to SC, ST and OBCs.

He reminded that even though Modi has been in power for 10 years with full majority, reservations have not been removed. Saying that there is no situation in Telangana where Rahul Gandhi’s guarantees are not being paid, he reminded the farmers that the loan waiver of Rs. 2 lakhs has not been implemented.

He stated that financial assistance of Rs.15,000 has not been implemented annually for farmers, and financial assistance of Rs.12,000 has not been implemented for farm laborers.
