YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) senior leader and former minister Ambati Rambabu took a veiled dig at Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan and actor Ram Charan over their announcement of compensation to the families of fans who lost their lives in a road accident after attending the Game Changer pre-release event.
Ambati Rambabu, in a tweet tagging Pawan Kalyan, said, “You preach morals in Pushpa, but fail to follow them for Game Changer,” indirectly criticizing the gesture.
The incident occurred on Saturday when two fans, Arava Manikanta (23) and Tokada Charan (22) from Gaigolupadu in Kakinada district, died in a road mishap while returning home after attending the event in Rajamahendravaram. Following the tragedy, Pawan Kalyan and Ram Charan announced financial assistance of ₹10 lakh each to the families of the deceased.
