Razole MLA Rapaka Varaprasad hit the headlines recently by claiming that he was offered Rs. 10 Crores by the opposition party in the recently concluded MLA quota MLC elections. Rapaka Varaparsad the solo MLA from Janasena immediately switched loyalties after the election and stated that it is for the betterment of his constituency.
Keeping aside how well the constituency developed in these four years, this move kept Rapaka away from Janasena and he is now not an integral member of YSRCP as he hasn’t joined the party.
Now, his claims of Rs. 10 Crores offering from the opposition created a sensation. Within a few hours, Rapaka’s sensational revelation about his fake votes during the Sarpanch days surprised many. He claimed that he used to win Sarpanch elections through fake votes as each of his followers would cast at least 10 votes and thus he could gain 800 votes majority.
These two revelations are quite contrary to each other and question the integrity of Rapaka.
