YSRCP president and Chief Minister of AP, YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, is going all-out with his efforts to clinch the people’s mandate for the second consecutive term by winning the upcoming assembly elections, which are scheduled to take place on May 13th. He has been campaigning quite intensely for the last month by touring different constituencies all over the state every day under the poll motto ‘Siddham’.
Besides launching a scathing attack on the opposition parties, Jagan has been effectively canvassing the welfare schemes implemented during his dispensation in all his meetings. After addressing numerous public gatherings for the last month, Jagan will be taking a day off this Sunday to discuss poll management tactics and other strategies with the regional coordinators and key members of his party.
Jagan was supposed to attend meetings in the Repalle, Machilipatnam, and Macherla constituencies on Saturday. However, the schedule was cancelled at the last minute as he immediately wanted to know about the pulse of government employees as voting through postal ballots commenced yesterday all over the state. Also, Jagan wants to know the election preparedness of his party by reviewing the booth-level agents deployed in each constituency.
Jagan believes poll management is very crucial and needs to be handled efficiently because Chandra Babu Naidu is an expert in it. So, he doesn’t want to be complacent and decided to take a break from his campaigning and take stock of the situation at ground level, said a close source to the party.
