Acharya Pramod Krishnam Calls For Ban on Non-Hindu Employees In Hindu Temples

Tuesday, November 5, 2024

Prominent spiritual leader and former Congress leader Acharya Pramod Krishnam made a strong statement, advocating that individuals without faith in Hindu deities or respect for Hindu rituals should not be permitted to work in temples like Tirumala on behalf of external agencies. He emphasized the need for a ban on such individuals.

Acharya Pramod Krishnam endorsed recent comments made by TTD’s new Chairman B.R. Naidu, who stated that only Hindus should serve in the Tirumala temple. Krishnam expressed his full agreement, welcoming Naidu’s commitment to Sanatana Dharma and reaffirming that Tirumala is a sacred site solely for Hindus.

He further remarked that just as individuals under the influence of alcohol are strictly prohibited from entering mosques or even stepping inside, those who do not respect the cow, considered sacred by Hindus, should likewise not be allowed entry into temples like Tirumala.
