With dozens of cases already registered against YCP leader and film actor Posani Krishna Murali across Andhra Pradesh, the trap is tightening around him for abusive social media posts during the previous government regime. Still spate of cases against him are continuing.
Several TDP activists are demanding his arrest. Several cases are being registered against him for allegedly making personal attacks on TDP and Jana Sena leaders, who were the opposition party when YSRCP was in power. Posani made inappropriate comments on social media against CM Chandrababu Naidu, Deputy CM Pawan Kalyan and TTD Chairman BR Naidu.
Complaints are pouring in against him in this regard. In a single day, 22 cases were registered against Posani across the state. TDP and Jana Sena leaders filed complaints against Posani at various police stations.
In Anantapur, the Telugu Yuvatha and SC cell leaders burnt an effigy of Posani. The Vijayawada Bhavanipuram police said that they will issue a notice to Posani in two to three days to appear for questioning in a case registered against him for allegedly insulting Deputy CM Pawan Kalyan.
Similarly, Srikakulam Parliamentary TDP President Kalamata Venkataramana filed a complaint against Posani at the Srikakulam Pathapatnam police station. Local TDP leaders complained to CI A. Vijaykumar at Tekkali police station demanding action against Posani for making obscene comments against TTD Chairman BR Naidu.
Similarly, TDP leaders also filed a complaint against Posani at the police station in Vizianagaram. TDP leaders, led by TDP Vizianagaram General Secretary IPV Raju, have filed a complaint with the SP demanding action against Posani for making inappropriate comments against alliance leaders and hurting their sentiments.
The complaint states that Posani made false allegations, used abusive language against Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu, Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan, Home Minister Vangalapudi Anitha, IT Minister Nara Lokesh and TTD Chairman BR Naidu and made provocative comments and insulted their dignity.
They have demanded legal action against him. Alliance leaders have also filed a complaint against Posani at Rajam police station. They have alleged that Posani made inappropriate comments that hurt the sentiments of Hindus.
