The ruling YSR Congress party has received a big jolt today as two senior leaders from the party have resigned and quit the party.
Alla Ramakrishna Reddy who is a sitting MLA of Mangalagiri has submitted his resignation to the speaker today. This senior MLA has a strong base in his constituency which might turn into a fatal mistake by the party just before the elections. He has sent his resignation to the speaker and it is heard that he was utterly disappointed as the high command has appointed Ganji Chiranjeevi as the in-charge of Mangalagiri. Despite being very close to Y S Jagan, Alla Ramakrishna Reddy has expected a cabinet berth but it didn’t happen on both the reshuffles which has shocked his supporters to the core.
On the other hand, the Visakhapatnam constituency in-charge has also sent his resignation to the party at the most crucial juncture. There are also speculations that many resignations are yet to happen as Jagan has already declared to some of the MLAs that he won’t be giving them the tickets next time.
