In the same vein, the police are recently targeting YSRCP leaders for posting posts on social media against Kadapa TDP MLA Reddappagari Madhavi Reddy.

The power of former YSRCP MLA Anjat Basha, who ruled Kadapa for ten years, was shattered in the last elections as after a long time, the TDP flag flew in Kadapa. Reddappagari Madhavi Reddy was elected as the Kadapa MLA.

In this context, the YSRCP has launched a war on social media against her. In the same vein, it seems that former Deputy CM Amjad Basha’s PA Khaja posted posts on social media targeting MLA Madhavi Reddy.
Taking these seriously the police stepped in. Khaja was detained in Hyderabad on Wednesday evening and later he was shifted to Kadapa. It seems that Khaja is being questioned at the police training center on the outskirts of Kadapa. After learning that Khaja has been detained, YCP ranks are moving towards the police training center.
Madhavi Reddy’s husband, TDP Polit Bureau member Srinivasulu Reddy, filed a complaint with the Kadapa One Town police on September 25 alleging that indecent posts were posted on social media against her. It is known that evidence has also been submitted regarding his allegations.
He alleged that defamation is being caused through indecent posts. With this, the police registered a criminal case.. As part of the investigation, some pages were identified on the social media platform Facebook. A total of 15 Facebook pages have been deleted.
It is learnt that Amjad Basha’s PA Khaja was arrested in Hyderabad in this connection. It is learnt that the involvement of the rest of the people in this case is also being investigated. On the other hand, Amjad Basha took charge as the Deputy CM and Minister for Minority Affairs in the YS Jaganmohan Reddy’s cabinet.
