CM Chandrababu says Technology should Be To serve people

Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu said that technology should be used for the service of the people and that technology is useful only when it is useful to them. He said that the burden of increasing medical expenses on the people should be reduced. He made it clear that farmers should be supported from crop cultivation to marketing.

He wanted the poor to get quality education so that their future should be bright. The Chief Minister held a review at the Amaravati Secretariat on the programs being implemented in various departments with the support of the Gates Foundation. The state government is working with the Gates Foundation on issues like agriculture, education, medicine, environment, infrastructure, RTGS, Swarnandhra Vision-2047, and capacity building of employees in government administration.

The Gates Foundation is taking cooperation in the issue of bringing services closer to the people by using technology in those sectors. The CM said that it is important to bring technology closer to the people and that services should be provided to them better through technology. He clarified that in addition to making services accessible to the people, there is also a need to create awareness so that they understand.

He said that the government is using technology in sectors like medicine, education and agriculture that are most needed by the people. He explained that they have focused on connecting the above sectors with technology to make medicine, which is becoming a burden for the common man, accessible to the people.

Chandrababu said that blood tests should be conducted for the people every six months and health advice should be provided to the people in advance based on that data. He said that the medical services and advice they need should be provided by digitizing the health records of the people.

He revealed that they should be able to identify whether there are any nutritional deficiencies in the children born, starting from disabilities, and for this, they are following the Care and Grow policy. He suggested that the data available in the state should be linked with the Ayushman Bharat Data Mission.

Chandrababu said that an Artificial Intelligence University will be set up in Amaravati. He said that artificial intelligence experts should come through this university and that he hopes for the support of the Bill Gates Foundation for this. The CM told the representatives of the Bill Gates Foundation that such a meeting should be held every two months.
