Chief Minister Revanth Reddy has asked all doctors in the state to work in government hospitals for one month in a year. Inaugurating AIG Hospital in Banjara Hills, Hyderabad, he suggested that they choose the hospital of their choice and work there.
“I am making an appeal to all doctors in the state. I want you to work in government hospitals for one month in a year. You should choose the hospital of your choice and work for a month. Working in NIMS and Osmania will give you a lot of experience. We are taking steps to bring patients directly from Middle Eastern countries. We will ensure that direct flights come to Hyderabad”, he said.
Stating that Genome Valley is very crucial for Hyderabad, the Chief Minister said that he would work to get Bharat Ratna for Dr. Nageshwar Reddy. He expressed happiness that we are providing three of the total four corona vaccines. He said that the pharma sector has developed due to the efforts of former IDPL employees. He said that the services of AIG Hospital should be expanded further.
Revanth Reddy said that Nageshwar Reddy has been asked to cooperate with the government in health tourism. Also, the Chief Minister explained that he is taking advice and suggestions from Nori Dattatreyudu in cancer treatment. He said that he is trying to record the health profile of women. He expressed concern that women are the ones who are suffering the most due to cancer.
He said that the Janani Mitra app will be very useful for poor patients. He said that our city has shown its greatness through the Miss World competitions. He recalled that he himself said that the AIG Hospital should be shown to the Miss World contestants.
He explained that an additional block in NIMS and hospitals in LB Nagar and Sanath Nagar are being constructed. He made it clear that his government is giving more priority to education and medicine. CM Revanth Reddy revealed that steps are being taken to change the perception of the poor towards government hospitals.
