BRS MLAs staged a unique protest in the Assembly to express solidarity with the Lagcherla farmers. Demonstrating their protest, the MLAs wore black shirts and handcuffs while attending the Assembly session. They raised slogans in the assembly lobbies, demanding accountability from the state government.
The slogans included statements such as, “What kind of rule is this? Police rule, oppressive rule, lathi rule, a regime of loot. Shackles for farmers? Shame, shame!”
The protestors strongly urged the state government to offer an immediate apology to the Lagcherla farmers. A video capturing this innovative protest is currently trending on social media platforms, drawing widespread attention and sparking discussions online.
